How we price a rental day, and why a week is cheaper
Rental pricing should not need a calculator. Here is exactly how a Kerbly booking adds up.
The day
A day is 24 hours from your pickup time, rounded up. Pick up at 10 a.m. Monday and return at 10 a.m. Tuesday and you pay for one day. Return at 11 a.m. and it is two.
The weekly rate
From seven days, we take 10% off the car price automatically. It applies to the car, not to extras.
Fees
Drivers under 25 pay $15 per day. Returning to a different branch adds a one-way fee of $40. Both appear on the quote before you book.
Tax and deposit
California sales tax of 8.625% is added to the total. The deposit is a hold on your card, not a charge, and is released when the car comes back.
